Hi Reader

I used to work really hard at everything in my life, my leadership and my business - but for some reason I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t growing to at least the level of my working hard; and why when it seemed like I had gained momentum, I would always slip back.

Over time, it dawned on me, that those who were doing well and sustaining higher level results, had a system in place in all areas of their lives. The systems helped them not only heal and grow, but actually Transform.

With True Transformation, there is no slipping back. You can’t undo the knowledge that becomes embedded in all that you do. You become the knowledge, just as how thoughts become your very body; thus developing the Mind-Body Connection; which is really just one Psychosomatic unit.

Developing a system and process through 2 frameworks

With this knowledge, I went to work, helping first myself and then through coaching, others on how they can recognize the already existing mind-body connection; and from there; enhance it as they weaved the language of their very soul, with that of their Inner Spirit.

From all this work, I developed the Mutedzi 3D Protocol and the Actionable Strategy Process. As you are part of this newsletter community, you are well aware of these frameworks as I talk about them all the time. So I won't explain them in detail, just highlights that contribute to Auditing, Scaling and Transformation.

These 2 frameworks have made the process of Transformation almost seamless, because I have embedded them in the way I coach. One of the main differentiation factors is that I use your everyday life, leadership and business as the ‘classroom’ for your transformation. This makes it possible for healing, scaling, growing and ultimate transformation continues on even after we end or coaching sessions.

Sampling the Frameworks

Reader, if you haven't done so already, you can sample the 1st framework, that is, the Mutedzi 3D Framework in the Complimentary Lead from Within Process Here. It is a 7 day audio recorded for your convenience, that includes 7 related emails in your inbox over 7 days.

The 2nd Framework - the Actionable Strategy, helps you move away from creating any odd Life, Leadership or Business Strategy, into converting your goals from paper to actual daily activities.

What it asks you to do is to clarify 5 main things ➛ your Purpose, Vision, Mission Activities, Values and Implementation Plan.

As long as your Purpose is clear, everything else is easy to lay out. Not just for your business, but for all aspects of Life as well, ie. your life purpose, your vision, the everyday activities you need to engage in to reach your goals and vision, and in support of your purpose, your values and the current resources you have to support you in Living a Life of and on Purpose. It's the same process that this Course uses.

The Auditing, Scaling, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Tool

Today's article focuses on the Implementation Tool. The first 4 parts of the Actionable Strategy, i.e. the purpose, vision, mission activities and values, are the building blocks for the implementation plan. So make sure to be as clear as you can on these. Why?

Because the implementation plan = the Mission Activities with their Corresponding Timelines + Available Resources.

It is important to align all available resources, as opposed to waiting for future resources. This helps you start the process straight away without waiting; and or as you are waiting for future resources.

Leading Teams

  • It is good practice to create the actionable strategy with your team - and or at least the mission activities, values and implementation plan.
  • This means that you as a leader, need to be clear on the Purpose and Vision of the organization, the department, the team you are leading and every individual in your team.
  • This will make it easier for you to communicate this to those you lead.
  • In addition, with clarity on the activities + timeline + available resources, it makes it easier, in the first instance to see what needs to be done, by whom, how and by when.
  • Your implementation plan acts as a monitoring and evaluation tool, as you can see and measure progress and performance on the go
  • You are able to forecast, grow and transform because of the clarity and transparency it affords you and your team.

Auditing + Monitoring + Evaluation Example Using the Implementation Plan

Each team, department and individual gets to answer the questions below, providing proof in the form of reports, figures and so on. Here are the questions:

  1. What is the Purpose of the organization? What is the purpose of each team, department, then every team member in each team, in line with the organizational / departmental purpose?
  2. In line with the Purpose, what are the long term goals, i.e. Vision, that we have been wanting to achieve in the past x number of years? Have we reached these goals? if not, what is the discrepancy between what we wanted to achieve and what we did achieve. And if so, by how far / much did we exceed / match our goals?
  3. In line with the Vision, i.e. long term goals, what were the actual Mission activities we carried out each year, quarter, month and week, to achieve what we managed to achieve? What worked very well, and what made it work well? What did not work well and why? How quickly were we able to pivot? Think people skills, systems, finances, approvals etc…
  4. How did we embody the way we carried our activities? What Values did we uphold? How? What values did we not uphold? Why / why not? What hindered us doing so? What culture did we nurture in the end?
  5. Were we clear at each stage, what needed to be done, by whom or what, in what manner, and by what timeline? Were we Resourceful with the Resources (human, finances, machinery, systems, skills, knowledge etc…) we had available? If not why not, if so, how did we manage to do that?
Audits help you see how you are where you currently are, so you know what is working and how, what is not working and why, what needs to be adjusted, changed or removed. Audits help you see opportunities and to address redundancy.

Development of a Growth and Transformational Strategy Example, using the Implementation Plan

Start by carrying out an audit as above. You most likely carried one anyway, if you are thinking of growing. Then ask the following questions:

  1. What is our current Purpose? Is it remaining the same as we are growing and transforming, or are we changing it. If changing it, what is it changing to?
  2. What are our current long term goals? That is, our Vision for the next x number of years for each area and department of our business? What do we want to achieve in the next x number of years, as we fulfill our current / renewed Purpose?
  3. What are the actual annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly Activities, that we need to engage in, to achieve the long term goals set above?
  4. How do we want to carry out these activities? In other words, how are we going to embody our Values in all that we do? With what sort of culture?
  5. What are the current resources at our disposal for us to carry out all the above? Think financial, human, equipment, skills, knowledge resources.

Bringing all the Frameworks Together

In all of this, we are Defining, Designing and Displaying on the go, because the only thing that is Constant in life, Leadership and Business - is change. Having a solid strategy, one that is clear and transparent, meaning that everyone in the organization, team and department is able to consciously contribute to it. It’s not only left to Leadership, but every team member takes ownership in:
  • Checking progress on the go
  • Using easy to follow frameworks;
  • Automating a lot of the tedious work as much as is possible
  • Freeing up brain power for more complex tasks that take time
  • Increasing consistency
  • Freeing up time for continued self-growth in this ever-evolving world;
  • Elevating every aspect of one’s life, leadership and business; and with that
  • A remembering of how in the very least You, your Leadership and Business are limitless.
