My work as a coach worked well in the 1st year and then after that, it felt like an uphill battle. Why? Because I just wore 'one hat', that is, the hat of the Coach and not of the CEO of this coaching business.
I didn't have a real back-end system, no structured offer suite, random marketing with no strategy, undefined or non-existent sales strategy, poor and at times a non-existent client journey, and poor retention of clients.
I did not have a CEO or business owner mindset, and to make it worse, my financial focus was on revenue alone - borne out of a stop-start survival mindset and not in a thriving and flourishing mindset that would focus on creating and maintaining a positive cash flow - just as any top level CEO would.
Each of my 'work days' were peppered with random activities against no tracking system or metrics. To cap it all, I had a lot of psychological, emotional and energetic blocks that made it impossible to go through or maintain a higher threshold.
And so I got to work re-aligning, growing and transforming not just my business, but myself. I now get to: lead and run my business from a true, authentic space that has been fueled by flow, freedom, and creativity. I get to run a scalable, replicable, and sustainable business, that is flexible enough to purposefully pivot for my clients as needed.
